The Flak Gun War Commander Turret's Upgrade & Setting Times were reduced in the G. U. of 2014.

The Flak Gun Turret War Commander received the ability to be upgraded to Level 8 in the G. U. of 2014.

The War Commander Flak Gun Turret received the ability to be upgraded to Level 7 in the G. U. of 2014.

The Flak Gun Turret received the ability to be upgraded to Level 6 in the G. U. of 2013.

The War Commander Flak Gun Turret was introduced in the Game Update of Oct 19, 2012

The War Commander Flak Gun Turret is able to target and fire upon all Aircraft and Airborne Infantry.

The Flak Gun Turret will NOT Target or Fire upon :

Any Missiles launched from the Missile Silo.

Any Hellfire Missile fired from the Hellfire, Hellstorm and others.

Any projectiles fired from the Nightmare or Javelin.

Flak Damage is the Aerial equivalent of War Commander Splash Damage.

Upon hitting a target an explosion is produced which will damage anything in close proximity to the point of impact.

The Flak Gun Turret is not very effective against the fast moving Strafing Aircraft such as the War Commander Raptor.

The term Flak was derived during World War II from the German FlugabwehrKanone, for "aircraft defense cannon"
